This is a marking-gauge for woodworking purposes to mark the same measurements against different edges.

I found some existing marking-gauges around but wasn't able to adapt them to my ruler measurements. So I decided to make my own in Fusion360 and add enough parameters to be able to create new gauges for each new lineal. I also don't wanted to use screws but after some iterations I needed to add a steel-nail as pivot axis to make it strong enough.

I printed the hinge with 90% infill and the body 30% infill. I put the body on its side during the print, so I could print it without supports. You can tweak your printers clearance in the source file if needed.

---

This is a technical remix of the “wayofwood” gauge but I created it using Fustion360:
https://wayofwood.com/3d-diy-printed-marking-gauge/
