<p>This is an evolution of the really simple battery connector that BigClive shared on Youtube for the Parkside 20v battery. Clive's connector is ideal for applications where you can use 20v dc but I wanted to have a 12v dc backup for my fiber modem and my home router should we have a power cut.<br>This works well and has enough space to house a miniature buck converter and as it is a BigClive styled plug it has a mandatory LED. There is a separate cover for the compartment holding the buck converter which can be easily customised to indicate the fixed voltage of the buck converter, in this case 12vdc.</p>
