To use my Dyson accessories on my Parkside (Lidl) hand vacuum cleaner I needed an adapter - after I had looked at some adapter pieces for Dyson accessories but nothing that I could easily edit with openscad, I decided based on the template of the dyson adapter from alaorath (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4278136) to rebuild the model in Openscad. The model for the button can be taken from there (including the great idea to use the spring from a soap dispenser!). Probably the fewest need exactly such an adapter as I needed - from therefore I have divided the adapter into two modules: - dyson_adapter.module.v1.scad is the adapter for dyson accessories and - parkside_adapter.module.v1.scad is the adapter for the parkside handheld vacuum cleaner The two modules are used in parkside_dyson_adapter.scad to create the model I needed (for me). The modules can be parameterized - so you should have a good basis for further models.
module dyson_adapter( body_height=40, cylinder_details=20, button_details, tube_details )
If you omit the specifications for button_details or tube_details, cylinder_details will be used as value!
module parside_adapter( adapter_ring_outer_diameter=41.0, adapter_ring_inner_diameter=36.0, cylinder_details=20 )
I use the outstanding Round-Anything library from IrevDev to create the roundings: https://github.com/Irev-Dev/Round-Anything
