I really liked the original idea from jaaanik but I was worried of over discharging the battery so I added a place where I can fit a small inexpensive mini voltmeter. You can find these in any electronic store or on aliexpress or other websites. For printing place it facing upwards (bottom is where the voltmeter comes fitted afterwards) and enable support which touches the buildplate. A good brim is also recommended.
