This is a simple design of a part cooling fan that slides into place. In the extruder of the Easythreed X1 you will find an unused cable that delivers 12 volts. This is the fan power supply. Hook up an old 6mm cpu fan and it will work right away. Some slicers even support PWM for the fan. At least PrusaSlicer does. Depending on your printers bridging ability you will need supports (personally i didnt need supports).
