These Gondolas were designed to attach to the PASCO Wireless Force Acceleration sensor and carry 3.1 cm diameter masses.https://www.pasco.com/prodCatalog/PS/PS-3202_wireless-force-acceleration-sensor/index.cfm These were made for an exhibit at AAPT where we built a large Ferris Wheel out of our Structures system. The Wireless Force sensor carried the gondolas, allowing for the measuring of forces as the Ferris Wheel rotated.
