Passive Amp for Bluetooth Speaker (Oontz Angle)

Passive Amp for Bluetooth Speaker (Oontz Angle)

thingiverse

This is a passive amplifier sized to fit the triangular-shaped Oontz Angle bluetooth speaker. It was more of a fun project to do than anything, but it does work. The sound is slightly distorted, which works OK for grunge and other loud music that is already distorted anyway. The base box looks nice, but has only minimal impact on sound--you can get a better effect by setting the speaker on a dresser or other mostly hollow wood furniture piece. Tubular part has an integrated base and will stand on its own. You can use the covers (as pictured) or just the ring insert, or nothing as you prefer. All parts (even the tubular one if laid face down) are designed to print without supports. I am also providing the STEP files in case anyone wants to modify this to fit with other speakers.
