<p>This creates a set of nested quilting templates with standard 1/4" cutting margins based on a basic hex tile of a dimension you specify. The templates have a fillet edge (specifiable) to make it harder for cutting blades to destroy the template.</p> <p>There are STLs are for a 4" hex tile. There are 11 tiles in all, as tiles of the base hex.</p> <p>There is a Rhino3D file and accompanying Grasshopper program to generate the tiles in any size you want. STL's are exported to a folder of your choice. Instructions in the Grasshopper file.</p> <p>You can specify the knob profile and adjust its dimensions parametricaly.</p> <h3>How I Designed This</h3> <p>If you are a Rhino user - particularly an early user - you may find the Grasshopper programme very instructive.
