The original I'm riffing on here was great, but the bit that holds the cardboard mini was just a little too spread out, so sometimes a mini wouldn't be clamped tightly. When I'd move the mini, the base would fall off. I wanted to tighten that up. I also wanted to build the components that'd let me make bases for larger creatures too. So I rebuilt from scratch based on the design here, and with a slightly narrower gap (I think 2.4mm) in the pinchy part.
