The door handle broke years ago and I had a piece of painted pine in it's place after buying and returning a few poorly fitting replacements. I got tired of looking at the pine handle and it was a good excuse to buy ASA filament. I used blue Flashforge ASA and it prints beautifully.

It's a simple model with a few slide in place nuts. My handle had two 8-32 screws located 100 mm apart. I used some square nuts I scavenged off something. I resized the model to work with McMaster-Carr part number 94855A216, https://www.mcmaster.com/94855A216/. I also reduced the depth of the screw hole as it was visible on the exterior of the handle.

Printed on back of handle as shown in picture without support. I printed a test sample as the bridging sagged a bit. You can adjust the nut pocket width in FreeCAD by double clicking on Pocket2 and Pocket 3. These are cut to half the nut width starting at the screw center.
