Designed as two separate parts so that the inner one can be printed multi-color by changing filaments at layer changes. The parts have a small tolerance and nicely stick into each other. If they turn out to be too loose you can easily glue them together. I printed mine in Cura with adaptive layers enabled. This way the rounded tops turn out really nice while the rest still prints quick.
