A scaled-down imitation model for one of the giant umbrellas in the Prophet's Mosque, Masjid an-Nabawi, Madinah. The giant umbrellas are automatically opened from dawn & closed at dusk. The documented height of each umbrella is 20m, upon deployed, the umbrella span at 15m diameter. It takes about 3 minutes to open and close the umbrella. Scale used is 1:100 I hope I can continue with a scaled-down model of this umbrella in 'opened' condition, but the complexity might take a lot more time
