PC Monitor fan mount

PC Monitor fan holder I spend a lot of time at my PC and in the summer its gets kinda warm, I found commercial fans designed to keep you cool tend to be too forceful and too noisy and get irritating blowing in your face, so I thought I would put some old case fans I had lying around. They produce a gentle stream of air that's just right (for me). This is not a tutorial as electricals are involved, but I used and old ATX PSU and a PWM fan controller to power the fans along with some PWM extension cables, cable ties and self adhesive cable tie mounts. I used Fractal 120mm fans so the design is based around those , most fans I have looked at are a little different, I have made the hole for the fan pin too big deliberately to give some lee-way in lining up, the fan pin I have designed has a shim built in to help prevent wobble as the holes in the actual fans are only 4mm (usually). You could skip the fan pin altogether and use a cable tie if you get too much wobble. There are 4 pieces for each fan. 1 x Monitor brace (I am using medium “command” strips to hold it up and it's very secure) 1 x Fan holder 1 x Fan holder pin (you could use 3mm bolts doesn't need a nut) 1 x Hinge pin (you could use a 5-4mm bolt) I printed mine at 100% infill and they are super sturdy, you might get away with a lower number. I suggest laying the fan holder on its side in the slicer and using tree supports, for the pins suggest printing in a group and using a brim otherwise they are really easy to knock over. P.S. I ran the flat fan cable down the inside of the fan bracket hence the small channel on the inside. Stay cool!
