PCB mounting clips for 35mm DIN Rail

This is a plastic clip used to mount PCBs with mounting holes to a 35mm DIN Rail. The photos and source files are designed to fit some bespoke boards, see the instructions below for information about altering them. All parts were printed on a Rev 4 Ultimaker in silver PLA using Cura 13.05.2 (beta) with the quickprint "Fast low quality print" setting. Update: 11-Jun-13 I've added another design, an endstop piece which is 5.5mm wide and makes use of an M3 bolt to clamp the piece to the DIN rail by closing the springy part. It could easily be added to the other pieces by merging some of the OpenSCAD code. Instructions It's unlikely that these clips will suit your needs as they are but the OpenSCAD files are provided along with the DXF to allow easy editing. Alter the clip profile by editing the DXF using something like Inkscape and then recompile the scad file, the hole diameter and depth have been parameterised but you will need to alter the spacing by tweaking the translations. The holes are set to 2.9mm diameter which was sufficient for M3 bolts to create their own thread in and hold quite secure.
