Pear Shaped Ornaments

Here are two ornaments based on a plane curve called the piriform which is sometimes called "the pear-shaped quartic". see - http://mathworld.wolfram.com/PiriformCurve.html. The ornaments print without support and require little material. OpenSCAD code is included. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator (5th Generation) Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: 0.3 mm Notes: A small raft aids adhesion to the build plate. The raft need not be removed but can be left in place for a stand.
