Peaucellier-Lipkin linkage. First rotary to true linear mechanism
thingiverse
This design was created using Diamond Age PLA on an Ultimaker 1, requiring olive oil lubrication for smooth operation. For precise fitting, the designer used a 7.96mm pin with an 8mm hole and reamed the printed linkage with a 1:50 taper reamer. A straight 12mm reamer was utilized for the 12mm diameter hole. Retaining washers and 3mm screws are optional, while alternative output links are provided for using a 'Sharpie' or Bic biro, which may require a 3mm screw for retention.
