Pedal Bin Hinge Fix

Pedal Bin Hinge Fix

This will fix the broken lifter mount on a very common type of sorting rubbish bin (aka trash can). These bins have been sold globally under numerous brands eg "Crofton" (Aldi), "Kmart", "Walmart" etc. The arm attachment was poorly engineered with only a few mm of plastic to hold the lid in place. "never attribute to malice what can be explained by incompetence" Let's just hope the designer was having a bad day... Installation Installation is simply: Print the piece(s). Grind or cut off the old mount attachment. I used a Dremel, but a carpet knife should work. Attach the new mount(s) and glue into place with a permanent adhesive. Enjoy. Print Settings Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3 Infill: 25 Notes: Print with at least 2 outer layers and 25% or more infill.
