Lessons learned: plan to have a large height difference between the various color you want to apply. Actually, it would be really sweet from Makerbot to have a feature in the Makerbot slicer allowing to choose a layer for which filament color can be changed (with the nice automation that goes with it, such as going to waiting position, asking for unload, asking for load, then doing some kind of skirt path to get a nice smooth start for the new color...should be easy, no? :) )
