Pegboard Wire/LED Spool Holder

Pegboard Wire/LED Spool Holder

I had recently purchased some LED and Wire and they all came on these spools/Spindles that i'm not quite sure what its called but i couldn't find anything here on thingi to get these mounted to my pegboard. I made 2 versions, one has a closed and one an open hole. So if you're putting something up that is relatively permanent, use the closed version, else if you decide to throw tape etc on it that gets used frequently, try the open version of it. I build it to take a 10mm rod (the opening is about 11mm) but in the image, is a 5/16" SAE rod with a couple of nuts threaded on the ends to help secure it. Pictured above, the black was my first version, when i only made the bracket use a single peg column, i wasn't happy with how much it could move side to side so i widened the back plate to fit 2 rows of pegs and it fits and stays solid so i'm quite pleased with it. The grey version in the images is like this. Ignore the bottom parts of it, that was my bad due to bad supports. These did turn out quite nicely and if you're looking for a way to hold your wire spools/spindles, you will be pleased with this one.
