Pella Screen Door Lock Strike

Pella Screen Door Lock Strike

The latch on my patio screen door had been broken since I moved into my new place. Over the weekend I finally got around to modelling a replacement. Since all I have of the original is a broken base, I have no idea if this is a truely accurate replacement, but it works for me. The door is a Pella, but I would think this latch will work for doors from other manufacturers. Based on what I found with the one I show printed and installed, I increased the latch length by 0.2 mm and decreased the screw holes from a #8 to a #6. However, I never reprinted and replaced the one I already had since it worked well enough. If anyone finds a problem with this, please let me know and I'll change it accordingly. Even though it might print better on its side, I would recommend printing the part upright with supports. This way the latch is strengthened by having solid layers through its cross-section.
