Pellet Gun Bayonet

Pellet Gun Bayonet

Some day the squirrels are going to form a legion and seek out their vengeance. On that day, you wouldn't want to get caught in the middle of the forest with an empty tin of pellets and no way to defend yourself. That's where this handy piece of equipment comes in. A bayonet for your pellet gun. Don't let those tree rats get you without a fight! This bayonet will fit any air gun with a barrel of 7/16" (11mm) outer diameter. The two I have tested it on are the Crosman 2240 and the Benjamin Discovery. I designed the hole slightly undersized so you can sand, dremel, or shave to the tightness you prefer. With mine, I just stuck the blade of a knife straight in and twisted it a couple turns to shave the inside until it was a tight slip fit. When I printed mine it goobered a little bit towards the tip. I am thinking of making a slightly different version that doesn't have such a fine tip. Added a second design. Now with serrated blade!! Print Settings Printer: Monoprice Maker Select Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .25 Infill: 25 Notes: You could probably print this with whatever shells and fill you like. I had mine set on 3 shells from a previous print and forgot to change it. It should print pretty quick. No need for support. There isn't much surface contacting the print bed so you might need a raft. My first one popped of the bed, but my second stuck. Neither had a raft.
