Do you ever find yourself looking for a pencil grip and thinking to yourself "$1.50 for a pack of pencil grips? what am I, made of gold?!?" well never fear because for the low low price of a several hundred dollar printer and some silicon you too can make extremely over priced pencil grips for yourself! This is a reusable mold for creating silicon pencil grips. fits most pencils and pens which do not already have a grip. the internal hole of the grip is 10mm which fits the majority of pens and pencils. This design was made specifically for the apple pencil and a few art pens I had lying around the house. There are two versions with two different size options: the double is a wall section which contains vent holes to allow for easier pouring of silicon into the molds, this one also creates two pencil grips. the regular pen cushion mold does not have air vents so it is a little more difficult to fill. The small size is around 20mm in length while the other is around 40mm in length. I found that the larger is a little more comfortable it just depends on hand size and what you prefer. The design is made to snap together with the posts fitting into the cutouts in the mold walls. the tolerances are pretty tight but don't be afraid to force it a little. tape the outside of the mold before pouring so that any leaks are contained and after curing trim the grip. There is a section on the inside which acts like a little gripper and helps keep the grip stable for some smaller pens. I suggest pushing your desired pen through and minimal trimming around the hole.
