X wing fighter pen (stationary holder) The pens take the standard BIC pen refills - see attached image. There is a pen test file included, this is the very tip of the pen, i suggest you print this and test it on a refill to see if it fits otherwise adjust the scale % accordingly untill it fits, thereafter all other parts need to be printed at this scale. For me as it currently is is perfect. there is a slot at the back of the x-wing for a scissor if you so like, also the canopy can come off to allow for paper clips, pins etc - although this is relatively small due to the scissor compartment. see images The pens clip onto the wings, and there are caps to hide the fact that they are pens, that said yes it is not 100% accurate looking like a real x wing design, but i had to take some liberties to make it a functional pen. need to print 4 pens - the canopy i printed as it would be inserted into the plane - other directions and it didnt want to slice properly - i thus had to put supports inside the canopy to hold the roof up. the pens i printed flat - using supports on build plate. the x wing i pointed up into the air, using supports. caps, base, dont need supports. i printed it all at 10% infil.
