Pen turning blank, chuck clamp.

I decided to print a adapter that would let me hold square pen turning blanks in the lathe chuck for drilling. I made the adapter to be 46mm o/d when holding 19mm square blank as this is the internal size of my chuck jaws. The clamps will hold down to 18MM square and up to 20MM. The wood blank with the hole through it in the photo is 18MM and as you can see the two halves are almost together, the acrylic blank is 19.5mm and has a bigger gap between the two halves. Please take caution when using this clamp, make sure the blank is held tight and true when clamping and that the chuck had a good connection around the outside of the clamp. Also ware a full face mask when woodturning as thinks can go wrong. Hope someone finds it helpful. Please post pics of makes if you try it. Think On Designs on instagram :)
