This thing, allows you to use a pencil as an axle and a CD as a wheel for just about any project. We designed it for use with a gearhead motor to create a clothesline runner, (not as fast as a racer). It was used by teachers to see how a 3D printer can help them to make objects to create a more engaging activity for their students. This thing also makes a great spinning top. Instructions We printed this single thing on our Replicator using the accelerated defaults. The object was created with Autodesk 123D. The central hole fits most hexagonal pencils. With a little effort it will also fit round pencils.
