Heyho Well my oldest kid went to shool last year and she still has some difficulties not to hold a pencil without using a lot of force. There are many commercial grips out there but I simply designed my own one derived from how I hold a pen myself.# I printed some out of PLA and TPU. Both work but the softer ones are a little more comfortable of course. Scaling My design is based on a pencil with a diameter of about 7,5 mm! So if your pencils are smaller/ bigger you have to scale the model. You should be able to do that with every slicer! Example: Step1: Measure your own pencil. Make sure to measure the maximum diameter. Setp2: Calculate the scaling factor. Setp3: Scale the Model (PrusaSlicer) Tipp: You don't need to scale the Z factor for normal pencils. For the really big ones (>120%) I like to scale the Z axis to 120%. Printing Tipp: If you use TPU go with 0% Infill and 1-2 Perimeter for a soft grip. Tightness Tipp: If you used a harder material like PLA and the grip needs too much force to go onto the pencil use some lubricant like paraffin (candle wax). Have fun and keep printing!
