This design is a pencil holder desk organizer. This can help classmates with distance learning by having an iPad stand on it. At my school they give us iPad to improve our learning so that's where I got that idea. There are also many different slots where you can put pens, pencils, etc. to make it quick and easy accessible to get one at all times. There is also a cup holder in the middle that can hold regular can sized drinks so that if you are working on a computer you don't have to worry about tipping it over and spilling it. The box in the middle is intended for sticky notes or flashcards say if you need to write something down quickly and you can't find paper there are two easily accessible ways to get what you need fro, this. you can quickly grab a pen and a small piece of paper. There is also a rectangular opening in the middle to where you can place your phone. Finally the two side pockets are for what you wish like erasers or a charger holder. I feel like this can help not just my classmates but every student with virtual learning by most importantly staying organized and having everything that is there easily accessible to where you know where everything is at and you won't lose it. Some of the issues that I come up against was trying to make something that is unique and that would not only help me but also others, and it also took a lot of time to get these shapes the right angles and make the holes for them. If I was to redesign this I would probably make it bigger so that instead of holding just sticky notes it can hold and file actual papers.3D printing would help strengthen. my design by just taking my ideas and brining it to life. I tried to make that did not contain other things that everything can soly be made on the 3D printer so I think that is where my design shines. 3D printing strengthens this design by making it lightweight and efficient unlike if it was made with another material.
