I designed this so I could stop stabbing my self with pencils in my pocket - There have been numerous occasions where I have been stabbed by my pencil in my pocket... But now I will not have to worry. The lid fits well on my pencil and gets stuck by friction Used to put on the end of pencils to stop stabbing yourself. Notice: Works for pencil I use (Staedtler pencil) but may fit onto other pencils... Try it Clip on pencil is very weak and can be snapped of with very little effort.
