Production models are designed for direct casting and machining using STL files. Prototypes can be produced quickly on CNC and 3D printing technology. Round stone designs have various diameter sizes: Small stones with a diameter of 1mm occur frequently in nature at 24 occurrences, while stones measuring 1.25mm show up about half as often at 12 instances. Larger stones measuring 2 millimeters are less common, found only once in this collection. Geometric shapes called triangles, made from three connected parts, form the most common shape in the model with over 803 thousand examples and a single vertex for every occurrence. The weight of metal used varies between different precious metals: Pure gold used is estimated to weigh around 2.84 grams when alloyed at 14 karat, whereas 18-karat gold alloys add an extra fraction to the total, reaching about 3.31 grams in weight.
