Make your own event badge for the 2015 Penn State MAKEiT event happening here on campus October 5th. Register at: http://makeit.psu.edu/ Hats off to the desiger who created the original logo that I stole to make this badge! Instructions Make your own badge... I've attached the files I used to create one for Chris and myself. General process might be to (1) modify the .PSD (2) export to .JPG (3) convert to .SVG (4) extrude in Blender and export as .STL (5) import into slicer (we used MakerBot desktop app) (6) print! I printed the model scaled to 60 mm across. I used the standard print resolution (.2 mm, 10% infill, 2 shells, 230°C, no rafts and no supports). It only took 14 min and less than (estimated) 3 g of material.
