## Penta-Pentomino, a tray-packing puzzle by Stewart Coffin Fit all five pieces into the square opening. This puzzle is one of a [series of tray-packing puzzles](https://www.thingiverse.com/asiegel/collections/stewart-coffin-tray-packing-puzzles). It seems impossible at first, but it isn't... if it seems like the pieces just won't fit the way you expect, or the tray size is just a little bit off... don't worry! There's nothing wrong with the model or your printer. Keep trying. There are three STL files: the pieces; the tray; and an optional lid. The tray includes an extra space for one of the pieces, for easy storage while the puzzle is in its unsolved state. It's modeled using [puzzlecad](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3198014), and I have included the .scad file in case you want to remix it. You will need puzzlecad version 1.2 or later. ### About the Designer Stewart Coffin is perhaps the most influential designer of interlocking mechanical puzzles, having produced a wide range of ingenious designs of various shapes and complexity.
