This is a Picatinny Style Rail, mounted on the Pentax 6x7. Out there are already plenty of accerories for this mount like cold shoes, grips and gopro holders. With this rail, which easily slides on, you can add needed features to your camera body like an extern light meter, a flash transmitter or a GoPro to film while you shoot with your beloved Pentax 6x7, 67 or 67II. The Rail mounts on all camera models of the Pentax 6x7 family and except for the Pentax 67II also on both sides. Later to this model will be added: - A dedicated locking mechanism - improved compability with Picatinny style accesoiries - A dedicated right hand grip - A Cold Shoe Mount matching the camera body - A Linhof style left hand gip - Probably an under the body extended Rail - Probably a full cage
