Pentax D-LI90 DC power supply using D-L109 dummy

I have been searching for an affordable way to power the Pentax K-01 using a DC power supply via a dummy battery. The original OEM one is too costly and I could not justify the expense. But thanks to this thread: https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/138-pentax-k-01/438496-ac-adaptor-k-01-solution.html#post5769773, I learned that the Pentax D-L109 dummy is also compatible with the K-01 (and possibly with other cameras that share the same D-LI90 battery - but I have not tried). So I bought this particular D-L109 dummy battery from this seller on Aliexpress. The important bit of information as shared by the pentaxian Kypfer is to cut a small notch on the D-L109 dummy to resemble the D-LI109. I did so carefully as the dummy battery is actually hollow inside. Next, I modify the pentax D-LI90 battery created by BETLOG to create a "shell" for the D-LI109 dummy battery such that the entire assembly can be inserted into the K-01 properly. In this way, the D-LI109 battery is not "loosely" inserted into the K-01. Refer to the attached photos. I am pleased that the whole thing works. note: not all power banks work with the dummy battery however - I have 2 x ROMOSS power banks but only one of them works. The other doesnt seem to power up the camera. Hope this is useful to a pentaxian still using the K-01.
