People and Car Miniatures

I created these small models as samples that my students could use for sizing and scaling purposes in our design project to build a miniature city. Students are tasked with designing a building of some kind (house, library, school, fire dept), a vehicle, and a third object of their choosing (park benches, stop signs, street lights, etc). I provided the car_plate.stl file so that block-style axles and wheels could be attached to the car. You can see the axles and wheels in the photos. Using this prompt, students would build the body that sits on top. I have included one sample car here. Just a note: I made these really small (about 32mm tall) so that we could print models out fairly quickly (and using as little filament as possible) while still creating something that could be painted and viewed as an entire town or city when complete.
