Perception Kayaks Solo Mounts

Perception, the kayak manufacturer, has a feature in their newer models of boats called the "solo" mount. Essentially these are molded threaded holes around the kayak made to accept this mounting system, for which you can add fishing pole holders, depth finders/electronics, etc. I love the idea for getting to add more accessories to my boat, but really hate that they sell this little mount for ~$30 which is a highway robbery. They don't share what the threads are or any details about this system as to pinch people into having to buy their products.. So I reverse engineered the heck out of it. Here are the first few designs I needed for my kayak: a zip-tie lock down (for wire management), fishing pole holder mount (for a Scotty base), 1" and 1.5" ball mounts for any RAM mount your heart desires, and I also included just the base geometry as an .stl and .stp file for any recreation you would like to incorporate. Cheers to the open source free world!
