Perception Neuron - Neuron Pryer

So for months I have avoided my Perception Neuron suit. It hasn't performed well due to 4 Neurons being weird and faulty. So today I bit the bullet and grabbed my prop connector and Individually tested and updated all 18 of my Neurons. After an hour or so of testing, updating, more testing I finally was able to Find the Neurons that have been the bane of my existence. But that's not the point of this story today. This post has to do with the god awful pain I received from removing the Neurons over and over again 50+ times. I'm a nail bitter, so I really have no length to my fingernails, so when it came to removing these Neurons so often I was dying from the pain. There were points where I had my girlfriend who has nails try to remove the Neurons and if was still really hard for her. I like that the Neurons are hard to get out. Snugg fit, I get it. But DAMN... My thumb is still throbbing hours later. So I decided to fix the problem.... I grabbed the dimensions of a Neuron, Tossed it into Maya and 3D modeled a Pry tool for the Neurons. After 4 iterations and testing I was finally able to print out a working (And pretty neat looking) Pry tool. But I figured that with a whole community on these forums I should share what I made to ease others lives.. Here is the link to my design - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2688363 In less than 20 minutes I was able to print this out on my Mono Price mini v1 at %100 Infill. Its pretty sturdy but I decided to print 4 more just encase NOW ILL NEVER DAMAGE MY THUMBS AGAIN! Hopefully... Ill keep the Thingiverse page updated with any future iterations I create. If you do not own a 3D printer I suggest clicking the “Order this printed” Option, it will take the print and you with it to a page that will setup a purchasing option for you. I WILL NOT GAIN ANY MONEY FROM YOUR PURCHASE THAT I KNOW OF . When I tested this option I found that there is a $9 fee for shipping and printer setup and that the piece itself was only $0.45 WHAT A RIP OFF! Soooooo Since the print is so cheap I would recommend ordering more than 1 or 2, just to offset to Shipping and labor price. I could buy 1 pry tool for $9.45 or 12 for $14.40 so for just 5 dollars more you get 12 pry tools. Hell for $22.50 you can buy 30 pry tools and mail them in a standard envelope to other forum users I DONT KNOW ITS YOUR MONEY. I hope you enjoy this tool, I hope Noitom and the Perception Neuron team include pry tools in their cases in the future. But until then I hope this serves you well. QUICK TIP! - While I was testing my Neurons I decided to cut little squares of green masking tape and label the top of each Neuron with numbers. This way I can track what Neurons are giving me issues and keep tack of their history.
