First of all I wanted to introduce myself. I am an exchange student living in the United States. I am living in the state of Michigan, studying at Paw Paw High School. I come from Dushanbe - the city capital of Tajikistan.The idea of creating a percussion block came to my mind when I watched several videos about it and the way it produces sound really impressed me. How I Designed This Percussion Block The way I came up with the design is when I saw some of the percussion blocks in my high school band room, I noticed they were mostly of the same shape that is rectangle. Then I created some drafts of the new ideas about the design and in the end I decided that the semi-circular would be the best. Here are some of my first drafts of percussion block.
