Perfboard/Protoboard mounts

Perfboard/Protoboard mounts

thingiverse

A few simple mounting brackets for protoboard/perfboard, whatever you like to call it. Like most of our stuff, these have screw slots at 0.5mm multiples in order to facilitate easy mounting on Bud Industries plastic back panels. We mostly use these for creating custom DC voltage regulators with multiple output screw terminals on a bus. A double-length version (pictured) lets you really put a ton of connectors on there - don't separate the boards, the double-length version has a support beam across the middle, but no screw holes there. Maybe you could even use it to make a DIY Arduino Micro/Mini/etc breakout board (though there are plenty of these available for peanuts and that work very nicely). The screw standoffs are sized to fit rather tiny #2 x 1/4" sheetmetal screws. But hot glue works nicely too. :-) Update 2018-09-05: added files for 80x60mm and 70x30mm protoboards to the 40x60 that were originally uploaded.
