Perfusion Chamber
thingiverse
Introducing a new design from the Washburn Biology department's ongoing project, which awaits functional testing. The BETA-3 modification addresses horizontal perfusion tubing by enabling diagonal placement to accommodate varying sizes. It also includes a reservoir that ensures fluid removal when the level exceeds the aqueduct line. Future enhancements include adjusting the top lid slide ridge in the final version, adding a nut catch, and supporting 0.3mm minimum layer height for printing. The design requires a gasket or grease, with some variables needing review. Exploded STL and SCAD files offer visibility of the aqueduct, while BETA-3 files simplify the process. Metal perfusion ports may be necessary, but polyethylene tubing compatibility is ensured. A top coverslip can be added if desired, though it hasn't been tested yet.
