I have a Hon Office chair that I !love! but the arm rests deteriorate over time. So I made replacement arm rests. Printed in PLA and no, they don't feel as hard as expected. Really is quite comfortable. Used about 144g of plastic. Printed with 15% infill (VERY important else this print will use a whole lot of plastic!) Because of the infill you want to fill the holes with your choice of epoxy/ super glue/ I used expanding Gorilla glue (the white stuff) let it dry for 2 days and than ran the original screws through to cut the threads. then backed them out and installed to chair.
