Peribot is a robot built by Peridot in "Back to the Barn" to compete against Pearl in the "Robolympics", a tournament created by Steven to decide between Pearl and Peridot on who would lead the construction of the Gem Drill. Hello everybody! This is my latest project, which took me 2 days to build an initial "draft" of the Peribot and another couple of days to build the final product. Unfortunately, this is still a Work In Progress as I'm currently working on the claws and some other small details. I have a very special plan for this artwork and, once the Peribot will be officially done, you'll all find it out. 'Till that day...Enjoy printing these first parts. UPDATE 03/11/2017: Good afternoon Thingiverse community! It's been a while since the day I uploaded the Peribot model but, after a lot of redesigning, I can finally share with you all the new design. Sure, it ain't completed yet, but you can already start printing the currently available pieces. Besides, I have provided some very short Building Instructions in the custom section below, which will also get updated once the missing pieces will be available. Happy printing! UPDATE 03/12/2017: Added both 1-piece Body and 1-piece Feet_x2 version. Building Instructions Peridot's Tips Since this Peribot has been designed to be as articulated as possible, I have a few tips coming from Peridot herself. As you can see, both Peribot's arms and legs have been built using spare black pipes and a couple of tires. That's why, in order to achieve a good articulation level, I suggest you use small pieces of hose for both arms and legs, and a couple of (either toy or RC) car tires. With the next update I'll explain why you need car tires for the Peribot. Step 1: Body Assembly Step 2: Feet Assembly
