Personalized Cup Holder

Personalized Cup Holder

This is a personalizable cup holder. I attached this to my client's lap tray on his wheelchair using a Stick and Suck Pad from RJ Cooper. The pad permanently sticks to the bottom of the cup holder and uses microscopic suction cups to temporarily attach to the lap tray or table top. It can be removed and reattached repeatedly. -Link to stick and suck padshttps://www.rjcooper.com/stick-&-suck/index.html You can edit the width and height of the cup holder and whether there is a handle slot or not. You can also include a name or message on the cup holder if you desire. For the text string I used Write.scad. You will need this file as well as the text library to include personalization. This file can be found here:http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:16193 Note: I included the files for Write.scad and Letters.dxf but haven't been able to get text strings to appear in the customizer. If anyone knows how to correct this for the benefit of others, please comment and share. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerGear Printer: M2 Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.15 mm Infill: 10% Notes: I used quick print setting "normal print" with Cura slicing software. The holder was printed with 10% infill and took about 6 hrs to print using ABS. Make sure to print with supports to print the string properly.
