This is a pet gate extension and locator. It's sized to provided location on a 5" wall section, while also providing a couple of inches of extra width. NOTE: Use at your own risk and discretion. This was designed for pet gates only, and only for use on a single floor. I do not recommend or condone its use on gates which block stairs or other danger zones. No warranty of any kind! UPDATE 24Feb2017: Added a second file for a wall locator. This performs the location function without the extension. Print Settings Printer: Reach 3D Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% or greater Notes: There's a large rib internal to the center cylinder, which provides sufficient compression strength to allow the pet gate to be tightened. How I Designed This Designed in Onshape. The CAD file is available in the public repository, just search for pet gate extension. I can post a STEP file if anyone would like it.
