Pet Monster - Lil Cyborg

Pet Monster - Lil Cyborg

This is my entry into the 3D artist magazine contest. I wanted to go with a steampunk feel to the monster. His legs and head are all posable. I hope you enjoy him, and happy printing! Instructions Print out the pieces. Get a little ABS glue ( http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:14490 ) and thinly coat the inside of the leg ball sockets. Then generously coat the outside. Doing this kept the layers in the sockets from splitting and gave me a tighter fit. Sorry about the large file sizes. I didn't notice until I actually uploaded them. I'm working in Blender to reduce my poly counts. As is though, the .stls print out really nicely. I'm still new at Blender and 3D printing, so tell me what you think! Any help is greatly appreciated. Update 1: I added some low poly versions of the pieces. I haven't printed these particular ones out, so I'm not 100% on how they'll turn out. Update 2: I switched out the low poly .stls with some better ones after discussions with Zarquon.
