I crafted this design using Fusion 360. I discovered a petrol can lid on Thingiverse, but the thread wasn't suitable - it was too thin and had too many turns. So, I created my own version. Take a look at the threads. They consist of three full revolutions with a section size of 6mm and a diameter of 42mm.
