Peugeot 306's don't come with a cupholder or any suitable surfaces to put a cup on/in! This cupholder fits nicely in the centre of the car under the walnut (in my case) dashboard and doesn't get in the way of the gear stick. I have a Peugeot 306 cabriolet so don't know if it will work for the standard 306. I've included the FreeCad file in case anyone wants to tweak it
