Version 2 is an alternative of the TrinityLabs micro-extruder body. This version has integrated bearing to appose idler tension. Use of the external bearing is no longer needed. The body is stronger and has M3 nut slots that don't penetrate the entire body. Alibre PE source files included. MendelMax 1.5+ kits and printed parts are available for purchase at www.ultibots.com. This extruder works well with AlephObjects Supa-Flat X-Carriage thingiverse.com/thing:10646 The bearing holders shown are:http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:15205, the last one on the download list. SDP_bearing_mount_for_y_axis__on_side_with_square_ends_and_fixed_holes_by_Simon.stl file. The V2 and V2.1 idler requires M3-40 bolts. V2.1b and 30mm versions use M3-30 bolts. Otherwise TrinityLabs vitamins are OK. You will need to remove and drill out the support layers on the idler and body. 08/16/12 - v2.1 has nut trap inverted for reverse direction mounting orientation. i.e. tighten idler from right... v2.0 tightens from left. 08/23/12 - corrected idler stl and added hole support. Added v2.1b with idler nut traps moved to allow for M3-30 bolts. Have not tested with 30mm bolts. Please comment if OK. 09/06/12 - tweeked v2.1b with a larger internal bearing cavity and M3 nut traps for the eMinebea motor. The new file is micro_extruder_body_30mm.stl Also tweeked is the idler with a wider bearing cavity.
