I have succesfully used this and caught fish. I bought the outrigger release system from the local fishing tackle shop for around $30AU. I attached this with some metal tracer and crimps. cable ties or similar would also work. i designed this so that the load will be central under the drone I feel it could carry upto 800g. The outrigger or downrigger in this case can be adjusted for tension. simply fly drone above head height attach fishing rig as per diagram release bail or baitrunner and fly out at approx. 10m high to desired location flick bail over and fly forwards allowing tension on line and releasing from mechanism.. I tested this in my front yard a few times to make sure I had the right tension set. Use this at your own risk and good luck.
