Phantom 4 Pro Battery Cooler

Phantom 4 Pro Battery Cooler

cults3d

A simple cooler to force air through a Phantom 4 Pro battery. In my testing, this cooler will take a hot post-flight battery to cool enough to charge in about 1 minute if the ambient temperature is around 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit. It is powered using a 12V car outlet, or via any other 12V power source. It can also be run off 5V but fan speed (and cooling speed as a result) will be significantly slower. ##Hardware Needed: 2 - 40mm x 28mm Fan https://smile.amazon.com/Swellder-Sunon-GM1204PQV1-8A-cooling-9200RPM/dp/B00XDZFL5S/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=sunon+maglev+fan+40x28mm&qid=1561223650&s=gateway&sr=8-4 (The above Sunon Maglev server fans are expensive but they do the job like you would hardly believe, incredible little fans.) 2 - 40mm Fan Grills (optional) https://smile.amazon.com/40mm-Black-Finger-Grill-Guard/dp/B00D7IH1OK/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=40mm+fan+grill&qid=1561223754&s=gateway&sr=8-4 1 - Mini Toggle Switch https://smile.amazon.com/outstanding-MTS102-Positions-Toggle-Arduino/dp/B07PYW94WN/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?keywords=mini+toggle+switch&qid=1561223784&s=gateway&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1 1 - DC Power Jack https://smile.amazon.com/outstanding-5-Pack-Threaded-Connector-Adapter/dp/B07C46XMPT/ref=sr_1_16?keywords=dc+barrel+jack+female&qid=1561223825&s=gateway&sr=8-16 4 - M3 x 40mm Machine Screws
