This is the second installment of my What If... Soundwave became a VHS Player series: TremmorsCon. An adaption of the Rumble or Frenzy Transformers character (colors are still being debated, LOL). I made a few changes in version 3 from the model in the picture: 1. Modified the hands so there are 5.2 mm holes for real TF weapons. 2. Added a post to the inside of the gun wings so you can place the flaps on these while the guns are on his back (so you don't have to just place them on top like I did in the one picture). 3. Added an additional 0.2 mm to the radius of the hip balls (in the hopes to make them tighter. (I ended up using a couple of coats of superglue on version 2's because he was so loose and floppy you could have used him as one of those puppet dolls.) I definitely recommend sanding the chest holes and the hip slot in the body to give them a smooth surface to glide/turn on. Drill the back holes out a bit to make it so the halves don't push apart when you screw them together. I was using four 3/4 inch wood screws. The reason it is important to have the halves fit together well is due to my using the tab below the face as a kind of spring mechanism to notch into place when you move it to robot mode. Transforming steps: 1. Pull off the flap sections by pulling them up, set aside. 2. Pull the legs out and rotate them down. 3. Rotate legs to face forward and rotate the feet. 4. Carefully rotate the hands out of the head slot then extend the arms by rotating the parts. 5. Use the small post on the back of the head to push it up into its lock position. (You can probably just reach in and pull on the top crown part of the head if that is easier for you.) 6. You can place the guns on his back or you can put them on his arms by pressing the wings over them. I would then place the flaps over the main post or you can try to hang them in between the wings if on his back. 7. The pistons should be able to slide right over the lower arm/hand parts.
